Why Thoerrisen Rizk Group Exists
The ideas behind Thoerrisen Rizk Group didn't begin with a business plan. They developed gradually through years of leading teams, studying communication, and reflecting on the kind of leader I wanted to become.
Throughout that journey, Cynthia and I built our lives around many of the same values, even though our careers took us in very different directions. My work centered on hospitality, leadership, and communication, while Cynthia built her career as a family medicine physician. Yet we were both guided by a shared belief in treating people with dignity, listening carefully, earning trust, and serving others with care and intention.
Cynthia's influence on that journey extends far beyond her profession. Her unwavering belief in me, her confidence in what I could become, and the values we've built our lives around together shaped not only who I am as a leader, but ultimately why this work matters to me. Looking back, I don't believe Thoerrisen Rizk Group would exist without that encouragement and the life we've built together.
That is why Thoerrisen Rizk Group exists: to help aspiring, emerging, and developing leaders approach leadership with greater clarity, confidence, and intention, while never losing sight of the people they have the privilege to lead.

Let’s Start With a Kaffeprat
Every leadership journey looks a little different. Whether you’re stepping into management for the first time, preparing for your next opportunity, or looking for support in your current role, a complimentary Kaffeprat is a simple place to begin.
In Norway, kaffeprat means a conversation over coffee, a chance to slow down, connect, and talk things through. We’ll use that time to understand where you are, what you’re navigating, and what kind of support would be most valuable for your goals, strengths, and leadership style.
The goal is simply to create space for a thoughtful conversation, understand what you need, and see whether working together feels like the right next step.
